Penalties:

Race Directors can give penalties to drivers to the extent of a Drive Through or Stop and Go Penalty. Note we can also take penalties away if we think a penalty that was automatically assigned by the game is unjust. Punting an AI is a Drive Through unless deemed a racing incident. Punting another driver is a Stop and Go of at least 30 seconds, depending on the damage done to the other car.

Safety Car:

Race Directors will put the safety car out whenever we feel that an event has happened that would require a safety car. Note that if a safety car is out and we think it shouldn’t, we'll pull the safety car in. It will take one lap to get the safety car in from the time we call it in.

Teams:

4 drivers per team having a 3 hour and 10 minute time limit per driver. The First stint driver can show up as early as 10:15 am and as late as 11:00 am.

Procedure:

  • Qualifying starts at 10:30am with a 25 minute session, and ends at 10:55 am. Qualifying will be a 4 lap qualifying with 30 second increments between drivers in order to space the cars out and ensure that there are minimal accidents during qualifying.
  •  There will be a five minute warmup to check controls before the race, once your first stint driver has checked all of their controls then you will give the Race Director a thumbs up.
  •  The race will be a standing start, and will start no later than 11:00 am going on for 12 hours.
